My friend always told me about this amazing travel advisor she has, Amy Grigos, so when I was looking for a warm weather escape I finally reached out. Amy asked me questions no one has ever asked me before – what type of food do I like, what type of drinks, what time do I like to have dinner? I didn’t have much time to go very far but I told Amy what I was looking for and she suggested this amazing boutique hotel right on the water in Cap Cana. It was everything I could imagine. The rooms were as large as an apartment and overlooking the water and when I got there the fridge was stocked with Kombucha drinks in several varieties and there were my favorite healthy snacks in a basket for me. A bottle of champagne on ice waiting for me with a personal note! I love having a lot of towels in my room, an obscene amount really, and there were always at least 8 towels in my bathroom every day. The staff all knew my name and made sure I was treated like a VIP the whole time, thanks to Amy’s relationships with the hoteliers, management and staff. It was the first vacation I truly didn’t want to leave. I’ve never felt so relaxed and pampered. I can see why my friend raves about her, Amy doesn’t miss a thing!!
