Last year we had planned an amazing trip to Rome, Italy. It included an 11 day cruise to ports in Italy, France and Spain.

From the moment we walked off the plane...in a very tired but excited state of mind..we were blown away. A wonderful gentleman greeted us and whisked us to immigration where we had our passports stamped immediately. Passengers from our flight and other flights had to wait what seemed like hours on a very dreadful long line.

The hotel in Rome not only fit our needs but was charming and clean and was indicative to our European experience!

Our tour of the Vatican had us educated and in awe with a private tour that was engaging warm and delightful!

Every tour, dining choices and experiences was everything we could have asked for and more! When we talk about it almost a year later we can visual every detail and as if we were there last week!

First let me say, every trip Amy has planned for my fiancé and I have been excellent! She goes above and beyond. It’s tough for me to pick a trip.. but I would have to say my favorite trip was the first trip she planned for Chris and I together to Baha Mar in 2018. It was where our story began. We fell in love with the island Bahamas and everything in it. The most memorable was going to Exuma Island to feed the pigs and we went swimming with the sharks! Amazing experience. We have gone back almost every year since that trip.

Three years ago my husband and I went to Iceland with our children and grandchildren. Amy did an incredible job planning the excursion. From the moment we arrived in Reykjavik and met the driver/tour guide, who would be with us for the duration of the trip, I felt comfortable and relaxed. Amy customized the itinerary so that it was suitable for three generations of family members while making certain we had a complete Icelandic experience. We saw geysers and waterfalls and swam in a hot spring. We had the option of walking on a glacier and going into a volcano. On our final day in Iceland, we went to the Blue Lagoon, where we received preferential treatment. Amy made certain we avoided all the long lines to get in and arranged for us to have our own dressing area. We were able to swim privately in the lagoon if we chose to. We couldn’t have asked for a more memorable family vacation!

Amy is an amazing travel agent. She is extremely knowledgeable and makes great recommendations. She also is meticulous she does not miss any details at all and very organized too. I love how she does everything for you. All you need to do is tell her where you want to go and things you like to do and within no time she has your entire itinerary done for you and it’s perfect. She books your airlines, transfers, restaurants, spa treatments, excursions and anything you can possibly need or want to do. She makes sure everything is perfect. The highlight of my trip was the half day private boat trip we did that took us to a private beach outside of Negril Jamaica. The two Jamaicans on the boat set up a picnic for us on the beach and cooked lobsters. It was such an amazing experience, we had a great day. Amy planned an awesome (and I don’t use that word lightly!) 3 generation trip to Iceland as my daughter’s 16th birthday present from my parents. 

Iceland is a pristine country with beautiful natural resources. However, the experience that Amy planned for us was truly special, not the experience of your typical traveler.

She arranged for a private tour guide/driver/former race car driver with a 10 passenger custom Mercedes truck to take us from site to site. Not only did we off road to remote mountains with amazing views but I kid you not when I tell you every time we returned to the vehicle from touring the waterfalls and geysers that people come to Iceland to visit, other tourists were taking pictures of themselves with the truck! 

The Hotel Ranga in Southern Iceland in the middle of nowhere rivaled the luxury of any big city, big name hotel, private chef dining and all.

Amy is not your average travel agent. Not only did she answer our (not just 1 or 2 of us) calls and emails before and during the trip at any hour but the relationships she has developed with concierges, tour guide companies, and restaurant managers repeatedly benefit her clients by getting them extra special attention.

Once again, Amy Grigos saves the day! I had booked a vacation to Bimini, Bahamas through a college spring break tour company, what a nightmare it was. My friends and I were left stranded on the island because the ferry to Miami was overbooked. Because of Amy’s personal friendships and connections in the industry, she was able to get us on a private plane within a matter of 40 minutes to ensure we made it back in Miami in time for class. She is truly amazing and works around the clock to exceed everyone’s expectations!

She also has a terrific staff of “ boots on the ground” who are ready and available to make any changes as trips seem to evolve while you are there. Amy found the most beautiful oasis just outside of the city center. The hotel was straight out of a fairytale! We traveled with another young couple with differing interests. We enjoy a lively atmosphere and they enjoy more old school charm. Rarely do you find a hotel that checks both of those boxes. Amy found us the best of both worlds! Our trip was so spectacular that the other couple is even considering having their wedding in Florence at the same location.

I can’t say enough about Amy. She planned a trip to Italy, Greece and Israel. Each step of the way we were greeted like royalty. In Rome, Amy set up private tours of The Vatican and the Colosseum. Our tour guide was fantastic. We entered the Vatican before the general public. Amy also had a private driver and tour guide take us along the Amalfi coast, stopping at Positano. In Greece it was more of the same level of treatment, including more private tours. In Israel, once again we received wonderful treatment. Our private tour guide was amazing., from seeing Masada and swimming in the Dead Sea. From beginning to end it was a trip I will never forget. Amy was only a phone call away at all times, no matter the time, day or night.

I had always wanted to vacation in St. Barths during Christmas time, but the problem was I didn’t know where to begin. I could not have chosen anyone better to plan the trip than Amy Grigos herself. Amy, who has a relationship with many of the island’s hotel and restaurant owners, booked us a stay at The Christopher Hotel as well as our dinner/ lunch reservations for each day. She knew exactly what restaurants were the “place to be” on which days, ensuring us the best experience possible. The 3pm Sunday seating at Nikki Beach was something that I never knew I needed! Because of that I’ve now gone on 6 trips to St. Barths, all booked through Amy, and they get better each and every time. Amy is the most responsive travel agent ever (seriously)! It doesn’t matter what time of day or night, she truly cares about her clients and will always pick up the phone. When we decided we wanted to stay an extra night in Cordoba, she shuffled everything around last minute to make it happen. For our trip to Spain, we traveled to Seville, Granada, Cordoba, and Marbella. Amy knew exactly where to go, what to see, and when to see it. We traveled during peak season and forgot to get our tickets to the Alhambra. She, once again, was able to pull some strings and make the impossible happen! Our rooms were upgraded in all four destinations during peak season. I am always blown away by how strong her relationships are halfway across the globe. Amy will always get the job done whatever that may entail!
